Newest Leaders family members.

Meet the newest family members to the Leaders family. We have 2 upside-down catfish named
David and Goliath. We also have 3 bala sharks. It is the neatest thing to watch the catfish swim.
I think this is just one more example of God throwing things into Science just to show that He is
God and He is in control.

Jordan and Princess Minnie

Jordan is extremely happy to finally have her new little pet. It took her a long time to convince her daddy into it and then a while before it worked out to get it, but I think she feels it was well worth the wait. She told me that Princess Minnie is her favorite mouse in the whole world. She is pretty cute.

Meet Princess Minnie!

We went to the pet store today to get a hampster and ended up getting a mouse instead. I am pleased with this however, as she is much nicer and was much cheaper than a hampster, with a lot less upkeep. Isn't she just cute as can be? Now the main hurdle will be keeping our cat Max away from her.

Dakota and Jordan sang their song that they wrote for the talent show at the JAM camp we went to. They did a wonderful job. I am so frustrated that I did not have the sound on, on my camera.

On your marks, get set,go

Dakota and Jordan have discovered the go carts in town and they have a blast in them. However, if this shows how they will be as drivers then everyone better watch out.

Score

Dakota scoring his first goal in his first game. He went on to score two more. His first game his team won 5-3 and his second they won 7-1. They have a good little team, they work well together. The second game 7 different players scored so that is good team play. Way to go team!

New Baby

We got the opportunity to go see this brand new baby horse. At this point it was about 15 hours old. It was so soft and mom was very generous to let us get in with them and love on her new baby.

Trail ride

Jordan, Micah and I got to go on a trail ride for an hour. Thanks to Dakota, who won this trip for picking up the most trash along this annual fundraising hike that is held every year. He so graciously gave it to his sister and her friend and mom got to come along also. Micah had never been on a horse before and had a grand time. It was alot of fun. Now we all want our own horses. Micah and Jordan were fighting over who was going to get to ride on Stormy, which is the big dark colored horse and guess who ended up getting to ride on him? You guessed it, Me. Ha ha. It was a bit of a struggle to keep the horses from grabbing snacks along the way. They are very clever about how they go about this. From pretending to stumble to just plain get their head and grab fast. Tricky little critters they are.

First day!

Jordan on her first day at Shalamar Stables. She did excellent. She has a great teacher and student teacher. They both were impressed at her balance. She is a little natural on the horse. I think she is going to learn alot here.

A fun time for all!

I think this was by far the best VBS for my kids ever. They were ready to go before I was most days. They learned so much and made some really great friends. Dakota learned that it is ok to dance and sing for the Lord, even if he is a boy. He even learned that is ok for boys to give and receive hugs. Thank you to Steve-o. I truely believe this is an experience my kids will not forget. I am very glad that we had this opportunity.
