Dakota is enjoying Soccer!
Dakota is really enjoying his soccer practices. Hw will have his first games this week, he is very excited. He is quite a little soccer player.
Jordan gets to clean her first stall
Jordan is having way too much fun cleaning horse stalls. I wish she would have this much fun cleaning her room.
New Baby
We got the opportunity to go see this brand new baby horse. At this point it was about 15 hours old. It was so soft and mom was very generous to let us get in with them and love on her new baby.

Trail ride
Jordan, Micah and I got to go on a trail ride for an hour. Thanks to Dakota, who won this trip for picking up the most trash along this annual fundraising hike that is held every year. He so graciously gave it to his sister and her friend and mom got to come along also. Micah had never been on a horse before and had a grand time. It was alot of fun. Now we all want our own horses. Micah and Jordan were fighting over who was going to get to ride on Stormy, which is the big dark colored horse and guess who ended up getting to ride on him? You guessed it, Me. Ha ha. It was a bit of a struggle to keep the horses from grabbing snacks along the way. They are very clever about how they go about this. From pretending to stumble to just plain get their head and grab fast. Tricky little critters they are.

First day!
Jordan on her first day at Shalamar Stables. She did excellent. She has a great teacher and student teacher. They both were impressed at her balance. She is a little natural on the horse. I think she is going to learn alot here.

A fun time for all!
I think this was by far the best VBS for my kids ever. They were ready to go before I was most days. They learned so much and made some really great friends. Dakota learned that it is ok to dance and sing for the Lord, even if he is a boy. He even learned that is ok for boys to give and receive hugs. Thank you to Steve-o. I truely believe this is an experience my kids will not forget. I am very glad that we had this opportunity.
My little drummer boy!
Dakota has really been practicing his drums a ton and it is really showing. He is in practicing atleast 2 to 3 hours a day with no promting from Mom.
